Curry Plant
Immortelle
The name is derived from Greek words ‘helisso’ (to turn around)
and ‘chrysos’ (gold).
The common name comes from the strong aroma of curry when
leaves or stems are crushed.
It is often used in dried floral arrangements.
H. stoechas is sold as an essential
oil claiming to open up the right side of the brain and improve creativity as
well as increase dream activity.
